I've had the honor of advising clients and their families internationally with authentic jyotish for over 16 years. My clients are diverse ~ yoga teachers and acupuncturists, chefs, CEOs, parents and their children, software engineers, nonprofit directors, actors, artists, school teachers, entrepreneurs, farmers, academics, psychotherapists, other astrologers and vedic teachers.

My clients have a desire for reliable counsel rooted in objective insight connected to a deeper cosmic order. They trust that there's more to life than "meets the eye" and they value personal growth and meaningful strategy.
My work extends beyond counseling into teaching and tutoring. Jyotiṣh students are past clients, astrologers, yoga practitioners and ayurveda students interested in expanding their knowledge of the doctrine of karma and of vedic astrology. I've served as guest faculty in Āyurveda and Yoga Therapy Programs, teaching Jyotiṣh, Sanskrit, how to connect to the Luminaries, Hand Analysis, Vedānta and the Doctrine of Karma.

My Background & Teachers

My first decade of study and immersion in the veda tradition was in traditional Buddhist meditation, study and recitations of ancient Pāli texts. The next decade was dedicated to formal full-time study and direct apprenticeship with in Jyotiṣh which began in India, in 2005, pouring over constellations, calculations and chai with strict and humorous teacher, Col. Pūri on the banks of the Ganges river. I had the rare blessing of six years intensive direct study, tutelage and private mentorship in thousands of hours with renowned Jyotiṣhi Hart deFouw {known in India as 'the astrologer to astrologers'}.

Full-time study and mentorship with Hart in the patterns of existence over the course of years included Jyotiṣha {Vedic Astrology}, Hasta {Vedic Hand Analysis}, Vāstu {Vedic Design & Arrangement}, the art of counseling, and Sanskrit and recitation. My work continues to be inspired and supported by ongoing research and exploration with friends in the lineage of Krishan Mantriji. I've been blessed to immerse in the profound and practical teachings of Vedānta in the traditional Gurūkula setting with teachers Pūjya Swāmi Dayānanda Saraswatī and Swāmi Tattvavidānanda.
My Life
Life itself has been a profound teacher, living as a householder and raising children with my partner wife of 22 years, Yoga educator Kaya Mindlin. To witness my own life as well as that of my loved ones and of clients through the lens of Vedic principles is an undeniable boon of insight, compassion and understanding. Thus, I bow to Vedic wisdom, its countless teachers over time immemorial, and its capacity to provide personal and universal perspectives that empower relationships, enhance work, expand home life and illumine inner life.
